Commitment
I am entering this card in the following challenges.
fabnfunky Challenge 37 --- Sharing Recipes
Pollycraft Challenge 58 --- 3 papers 2 embellishments 1 image
2 Sisters Challenge 5 --- a sketch
I thought this card would be a good one to send to my friend Rose who is setting up home with her "man". They are celebrating by having a commitment party. The message inside is "Congratulations on your commitment to each other".
The main paper is from Dovecraft, the pink paper is from my stash, I used a cuttlebug swirls embossing folder on it to give it some texture, I matted and layered it onto black paper. I used 2 black buttons and a heart charm as embellishments
The image is a freebie from Sj's Little Musings who is very talented and generous with her digital images

The papers and paper ribbon are from Basic Grey , the greeting is from Anita's Glitterations. Paper Flowers
Over at Crafty Cardmakers they have a tutorial for paper flowers. I found it very easy to follow and I'm pleased with my first attempt, I used scraps of paper to make them as I wasn't sure how they would turn out. Because I didn't have the glue and glitter used in the tutorial, I used glitter glue around the edges which is very subtle and doesn't show up very well in the photo. The link to the tutorial is http://inspirationaltechniquesandtutorials.blogspot.com/2010/04/pretty-vintage-paper-flower-posies.html
