Hi everyone
This is my first attempt at a shabby chic card. The paper has a faded look to it so I didn't do any actual distressing.
The recipe
Poem fly little birdie from the Graphics Fairy Vintage images,
Backing papers by Fancy Pants free with a magazine,
Brown decorative strip cut with a Xcut die on my cuttlebug.

Surfer Little Todd
This is my first blog since the birth of my youngest grandson born in November 2010. I seem to have spent alot of my spare time knitting for him as he was a small baby and needed to be kept warm, it was also one of the coldest winters we have had for years. Thankfully he is now better able to maintain his body heat and also the weather has warmed up,so I have put my knitting needles away.
I really like the way this card has turned out, it's one that will suit quite a few members of my family. The card looks a bit pink in the photo but it is a shade of orange.
The digital image is a freebie from
http://beccysplace.blogspot.com/2011/02/little-todd.html coloured on my computer
The plain backing paper is from the Paper Mill
Ribbon from Anitas (sticky back)
I would like to enter the card in the following challenges
Paper Sundaes Challenge 60 Keep it Simple
Paper Pretties Challenge 145 Card for a Male
Incy Wincy Challenge 85 For the Boys
